This winter I got asked to do a solo exhibit in Berlin at the Romones Museum. My good friend and long time supporter of HarshVibesArt and Dead To Me, Flo set up the whole thing. The band played acoustically, I hung my art, and we printed this design on shirts, bags, and anything that people brought to the show.
This is where it all begins. My little kitchen. Overrun with art and junk.
Here is my body of work all packed up and ready to fly to Berlin. The black case is my snare drum, the rest art. The people at SFO looked at me like I was crazy, they had to open it up for inspection and I watched over there shoulder to make sure they re-sealed it correctly not to damage anything.
Made it Berlin. Time to unpack and make sure everything is in tact.
Flo bult these wood walls. Nice work. I had to lay everything out and try to get a visual idea of how I want to place them on the walls.
Layout.
Layout. So hard to pick placement.
Adjust the lighting. And clothe line for the shirts we are going to print and hang to dry.
Hang time. That's me and Flo. He helped me with everything and he is one of the coolest dudes of all time.
This is the room filled with heads. So many good friends came through. Thanks to everyone. Here are the shirts drying overhead, art hanging around, and DTM about to take the stage.
